Schooner Curling Club Fleece Jackets are being ordered by the club. They are $20 each or FREE if you participate in the Closing Spiel in April. All members who are interested are asked to sign the sheet at the club with thier size and color preferences. Samples are available at the club to try on. All interested members are asked to sign up and specify thier preferences before February 24th as the order needs to placed shortly after that to gaurentee delivery. Again, jackets are only $20 each or will be Free (in lieu of the usual prize table selection) for participants in the closing spiel. Get your orders in today!!

The JDRF Spiel Raised Over $3700
The 5th annual JDRF fund raising spiel, held January 13 and 14, was another huge success, raising over $3700 and providing a weekend of fun for a lot of new and seasoned curlers alike. This year saw the spiel grow to 28 teams and we hope to see the growth and success continue next year. Congratulations to the event founder and driving force, Lena Chiasson, a young lady who herself suffers from juvenile diabetes, her family and friends and everyone who was part of making the spiel happen. Thank you to all who took part and to all the businesses and individuals who donated food, prizes and money to the cause. We hope to see you all back next year.

Curling is fun, it's social, it's good excercise and it's a sport accessible to all ages and fitness levels. The Schooner Curling Club provides a very social, low pressure environment to learn and play the game of curling. Anyone can do it.
